Today I noticed another nice little feature in iOS5 called ‘AirPlay Mirroring’ for FaceTime. The new feature enables you to easily have a video call with someone via FaceTime, and show it simultaneously on your HDTV. It’s great to see how it can turn the regular screen into a much bigger, HD experience.

You can imagine this going down a storm in the business world, being ideal for conference calling. Obviously as far as the iPad goes, it will only work with the iPad 2, as you need a front-facing camera for FaceTime of course, and as Cult of Mac points out, you’ll have to keep your iPad 2 in front of you when making the FaceTime call. It also turns the iPhone into a very handy conference-calling tool.

What do you think?
